10 Instructor This project will use the Tap Handle previously turned. *  
20 Lathe Set up lathe to cut threads between centers. Use a soft material to protect the knurl from the dog.
30 Lathe Cut the threads using the single point thread cutting method on the lathe. See instructor about cutting a thread with no termination groove.
40 Lathe Chuck the part. Protect the knurl using a soft material.
50 Lathe Face the .500 end to length, completely removing the center
60 Lathe File the 0.25 radius on the end of the part. Use a radius gage to check the radius.
70 Lathe Deburr the part.
80 Bench Inspect part.
90 Instructor Turn in for grading. *
