| 20 | Lathe | Set up lathe to cut threads between centers. Use a soft material to protect the knurl from the dog. | ||
| 30 | Lathe | Cut the threads using the single point thread cutting method on the lathe. See instructor about cutting a thread with no termination groove. | ||
| 40 | Lathe | Chuck the part. Protect the knurl using a soft material. | ||
| 50 | Lathe | Face the .500 end to length, completely removing the center | ||
| 60 | Lathe | File the 0.25 radius on the end of the part. Use a radius gage to check the radius. | ||
| 70 | Lathe | Deburr the part. | ||
| 80 | Bench | Inspect part. | ||
