What You Can Do!

Skill and patience play a vital part in setting up and operating machine tools, checking the accuracy of the work and adjusting machine settings to produce parts within tolerace. An operator will work on both computer-controlled and manual machines.

Use Modern Equipment:

bullt1.gif (908 bytes) Manual drilling and computer numerically controlled (CNC) drilling machines

bullt1.gif (908 bytes) Band machines that may be used for sawing, filing or polishing.

bullt1.gif (908 bytes) Manual lathes and CNC turning machines to produce cylindrically shaped parts.

bullt1.gif (908 bytes) Manual milling machines and CNC machining centers which produce flat or contoured surfaces on work pieces.

bullt1.gif (908 bytes) Manual griders, such as cylindrical, surface, tool and cutter griders, and CNC grinders to produce very accurate and smooth surfaces.
